Mini- Auction: Steve Bean – Scuderi Farm Fresh Eggs sold to Justice Wilson $25.00. Tom Lally donated a Fall Rotary Travel bag with various pumpkin flavored goodies, Justice Stephens was the high bidder @ $65.00.
 
 
Announcements:

Christy Peterson informed the club of a Membership Sub Committee. Focusing on Rotary member engagement, this sub-committee is looking for new members. Contact Christy or Sam Bovard for more details.
 
Judy Blinn informed members they can order club specific Rotary Logo merchandise. Sign-up sheets will be available through the next few meetings.
 
Reid Bates circulated on invocation form to complete the 12 open slots from now until December 2016.

Justice Wilson Moderated our Superior Court Candidate Debate. Justice Wilson provided the following context with respect to our Superior Court:
  1. Trial Court – dealing with Family and Criminal Law
  2. Hears Appeals
  3. 8 Full Time Judges; 4 year terms; currently two open seats (Position 1 and 7)
  4. Open Seats result of 2 retiring Justices (Tabor and Wickham)
 
Debate format: 3-minute opening remarks; 90 secs for questions
 
Candidates for today’s debate: Position 1: Laura Murphy and Chris Lanese; Position 7: Jim Foley and John Skinder
