Member Induction
Sam Bovard introduced our newest member, Craig McElfresh, Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County.  Craig was inducted into the club by President Dan Lehuta.

Program – The Life of Harold LeMay
Rosemary Barnhart introduced Charlie Maxwell, a long-time friend and employee of Harold LeMay.

Charlie told the story of car enthusiast and refuse company owner Harold LeMay and his family.  He shared many humorous stories associated with his travels with Harold in their efforts to acquire vintage cars for Harold’s collection.  Some of these journeys involved seemingly non-stop trips across the United States in a semi-truck.

Charlie shared how Harold’s business success and love of cars translated into the establishment of America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, and the LeMay Family Collection in Spanaway.

Holiday Collection for Our Server Carol
During our meetings this week and last, we collected over $1000 to present to our Hotel RL server Carol for the holidays.  Carol has been serving our club for over 30 years.
