Welcome to the Rotary Club of Olympia.  Chartered in 1920 with 25 original members, the Olympia Rotary Club is the oldest of the many Rotary clubs in the greater Olympia area.  It is also the largest club, boasting over 170 active members.  Members actively participate in over 40 committees.

We host two major community fund raising events each year - the Trials Legacy Marathon help in conjunction with Lakefair in July and the Jazz Festival.

The annual Trials Legacy Marathon is presented by the Olympia Rotary Club in conjunction with the Lakefair half marathon, 8K and 3K runs to be held in July of each year.

The Jazz Festival is held in November at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, and features jazz bands from the local area.  Funds raised go to fund musical instruments for local school students and the Rotary clean water project in Malawi, Africa.

Our meetings are always informative.  Because we are in the capital city, we often feature presentations by elected or appointed officials including the Governor, State Auditor, Office of the Secretary of State, county commissioners, and city managers from Olympia and the surrounding communities.  We mix in representatives the medical community, foreign visitors and exchange students, sports teams and coaches, and the media.

If you are a visiting Rotarian, or just interested in Rotary, we welcome you to visit us at one of our lunch meetings.
