Passionate about ending homelessness for children:
  1. Physical and mental health
  2. Developmental delays
  3. Emotional, behavioral, social
  4. Academic barriers
  5. Increased risks for the future
Some students sleep in cars or tents.  Some students couch surf from family to family.
It is hard to put learning first if you are worried about your family’s safety, where they will eat, or where they will sleep.
People often hide their children when they are homeless as they are afraid they may get in trouble with child protective services.
